Fuel Oil Supply Systems
Many Emergency Generator fuel supply systems (EGFS), are outdated or may be in risk of failure. Either of these may put your property at risk of being ineligible for re-fuelling or an environmental spill. Whether your being proactive or you’ve received notification from The T.S.S.A., a fuel supplier or your insurance company regarding your EGFS system we at Mannion Petroleum are there to assist you.
We’ll start with one of our technicians performing a comprehensive inspection of your EGFS system to identify any issues or assuring your systems compliance. Depending on the issues, upgrading your system may include any or all of the following;
- Assist you with T.S.S. A. Variance application (if necessary).
- All work completed by T.S.S.A certified technicians.
- All electrical work carried out by E.S.A. certified technicians.
- Fuel transfers from main tank and/or auxiliary tanks to our on site temporary tank, connection and testing of generator to ensure it’s functional during the installation of the new equipment.
- Disconnecting, removing and disposing of existing tanks, pumps and old equipment.
- Providing new double walled vacuum monitored storage tank(s).

- Provide all necessary valves piping and fittings to connect the tank to the system. Extend vent pipe to regulation height
- Provide a new pump set c/w external pressure relief valve, combination high/low pressure switch, gauges, check valves, fuel strainers, and epoxy coated steel channel base.
- Provide the required fittings to connect the new tank to the supply system and existing filler and vent.
- Provide protection for the tank filter unit, valves and the genset supply/return lines.
Install a new leak proof Fuel gauge.- Provide Critical High Level package to address B-139-06 criteria and TSSA variance.
- Paint all piping with rust resistant paint.
- Return filtered fuel oil to new Main (and Auxiliary tank).
- Provide a new pump control panel (to be installed by our electrician)
- Supply a copy of the completed T.S.S.A. fuel system Comprehensive Inspection report.
- Commissioning of system
- Attend with T.S.S.A. inspector for variance inspection
